Terms of Submission – Events 1. Eligibility Submissions must be relevant to Richmond, VA or the surrounding region. We prioritize events that align with our coverage areas: Arts & culture (performances, exhibitions, festivals) Community events Educational, civic, and cultural programming Both free and ticketed events are eligible. 2. Submission Requirements
To be considered for publication, all event submissions must include:
Event title Date and time Location (venue name + address) Event description (100–200 words preferred) Organizer name Ticket information or registration link (if applicable) Contact email or phone number At least one high-quality image (landscape preferred)
Incomplete submissions may not be reviewed.
3. Deadlines Standard submissions: At least 7–10 days in advance Major events or festivals: 2–4 weeks in advance Late submissions may not be guaranteed placement 4. Editorial Discretion Submission does not guarantee publication Events are selected based on: Relevance to our audience Cultural impact Community significance Editorial balance across coverage areas We reserve the right to edit for clarity, length, and style 5. Images & Media By submitting images, you confirm you have the right to share and publish them We may crop or adjust images to fit layout needs Credit will be included when provided 7.
