88-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Struck on W. Broad Street

Henrico Police have confirmed that the pedestrian struck Monday, April 20, at the intersection of Coppermill Trace and W. Broad Street has died from his injuries. The victim has been identified as 88-year-old Dominic Lisanti of Henrico.

  • Victim: Dominic Lisanti, 88, of Henrico
  • Incident date: Monday, April 20
  • Location: Near Coppermill Trace and W. Broad Street (eastbound lanes)
  • Outcome: Succumbed to injuries Tuesday, April 21 at an area hospital
  • Vehicle involved: Henrico County vehicle operated by a county employee
  • Preliminary findings:
    • Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors
    • No charges have been filed at this time
    • Driver remained on scene and is cooperating
