A seasoned pillar of the East Coast music scene\, Newbold has occupied various roles spanning guitarist to drummer in bands Well Wisher and dollys (respectively)\, as well as the present touring bassist for The Front Bottoms– contributing lead or support vocals across the board. \nAnd so\, the multi-hyphenate artist is undeniably equipped to write and perform every component of her upcoming LP; a challenge she proposed to herself as an exercise in artistry and autonomy.At the heart of the project is introspective and heartfelt songwriting. Each track sports a signature 90’s flair\, decorated with heavy\, shoegazey guitars\, roomy drums\, and catchy vocal melodies– dreamy and nostalgic\, while simultaneously maintaining a fresh and compelling composition.
