SUMMARY:Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour
DESCRIPTION:As one of today’s premiere stand-up comedians\, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house. Jo’s uniquely relatable comedy pulls inspiration from his colorful family that has reached all kinds of people and has translated into sold-out arenas around the world. \n\n\n\nThe comedian continues to be one of the top 10 grossing stand-up comedians each year according to Pollstar and Billboard. Today\, he continues selling out and breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila\, PH)\, The Forum (Los Angeles)\, Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai)\, ICC Theatre (Sydney\, AU)\, O2 Arena (London)\, Madison Square Garden (New York City)\, and American Airlines Arena (Dallas) to name a few. In 2022\, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14\,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19\,000 tickets). In 2017\, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23\,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response\, the mayor’s office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nKoy starred in the 2022 Universal Picture comedy Easter Sunday\, the film takes place around a struggling single father that returns to his hometown of Daly City\, CA to survive a chaotic Easter with his family. The film is a love letter to his Filipino roots and is loosely based on Jo Koy’s life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday was produced by Steven Spielberg’s production company Amblin Partners and is the first motion picture film to feature an all-Filipino cast and be produced by a major studio. In honor of the film\, Daly City gave Jo the Keys To The City and declared July 22nd “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Koy appeared in Disney’s Haunted Mansion and voiced characters in Netflix’s animated films\, Monkey King and Leo. In 2024\, he was most recently heard voicing the character Monkey King in the Paramount+ film\, The Tiger’s Apprentice. He’s also appeared in Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias and Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, it was announced that he inked a two-special deal with Netflix with the first special releasing in 2024. Jo returned to Netflix in typical style\, sharing his unfiltered opinions on social media\, aging and moving into a new phase of his life; his zaddy phase. Filmed at the historic King’s Theatre in Brooklyn\, NY\, Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn premiered globally on June 4th\, 2024 only on Netflix and reached the Top 10 within the first week. His other Netflix stand-up specials include Live From The Los Angeles Forum\, Comin’ In Hot and Live From Seattle. Overall\,Koy has had seven highly rated and successful specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In June 2020\, the comedian released his first variety special\, Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix in which Koy brings the laughs and beats to Manila\, spotlighting local culture in a one-of-a-kind show featuring Filipino-American comedians\, DJs and B-boys. \n\n\n\nOn March 21st\, 2026\, Koy alongside Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias will become the first to headline and sell-out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for their One Night Only! show. \n\n\n\nKoy continues to push for representation in Hollywood and shine a light on Filipino talent. Last year Koy joined Nurse Unseen\, a documentary from Emmy-winning director Michele Josue\, as an executive producer. The film explores the little-known history and humanity of the unsung Filipino nurses who risked their lives on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic while facing a resurgence of anti-Asian hate in the streets. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Jo came on as a producer for the David Byrne-Fatboy Slim musical\, Here Lies Love. Here Lies Love told the story of Imelda Marcos’ rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. The show received four Tony Award nominations during its run and was the first to feature an all-Filipino cast on Broadway. \n\n\n\nIn 2022\, Koy was once again acknowledged for his advocacy for more representation in entertainment and was given the proclamation in Los Angeles that October 7th would be declared “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Koy released his first autobiography\, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo with Harper Collins Publishers to raved reviews. In this funny and moving memoir\, Koy uncovers the stories behind his stand-up: the conflict\, the drama and the laughter as he struggles to find his place in the entertainment industry\, his home and around the world. \n\n\n\nJo is currently on his Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour. For more info on his comedy\, book and tour dates\, please visit: Jokoy.com. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n$45.60 – $107.40

But deep fans don’t underestimate the contribution of GRAMMY Nominated and Soul Train Award winning singer and songwriter Tony Terry. \nAfter graduating from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington\, D.C.\, he sang backing vocals for several R&B groups \nA Maryland native\, Terry moved to New York as a young man in search of a career as a solo singer\, and it wasn’t long before singing in local clubs led to a signing by Epic Records. For his 1987 debut album\, Forever Yours\, Terry and his team aimed squarely at the emerging New Jack Swing market\, landing two top 10 hits with “She’s Fly” and “Lovey Dovey.” But it was a strategic turn on his sophomore disc that solidified Terry’s spot in soul music history as a balladeer supreme with his Classic hit “With You“. \n“With You” was a romantic ballad that Epic didn’t believe in\, but Terry knew was a hit. It slowly percolated\, without label support\, on Quiet Storm radio\, ultimately landing in the Top 10 and giving Terry his signature hit. When Anita Baker heard that Epic wouldn’t pay for a music video for the song\, she fronted Terry $50\,000 and brought in Blair Underwood to direct what would become one of the more popular music videos of the era.

SUMMARY:Patti LaBelle with Special Guest Leela James
DESCRIPTION:Beautiful\, simply does not describe the incomparable force known to the world as Patti LaBelle. As time continues to evolve\, the soulful songbird’s name has become synonymous with grace\, style\, elegance and class. Belting out classic rhythm and blues renditions\, pop standards and spiritual sonnets have created the unique platform of versatility that Ms. Patti is known and revered for. As she continues into her fourth decade of performing\, the Philadelphia maven has returned to her roots with her latest project\, The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle. “I was born gospel\, so it’s not like I’m coming back or trying to impress people with this new gospel project. I’ve always done this. I’ve never done a whole album. That’s the only thing that’s missing\,” observes the songstress. “I’ve come full circle where you can say it’s a complete project.” The church tour accompanied the release of The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle. It began at The Potter’s House in Texas\, home to Bishop TD Jakes. Patti was blessed to have gospel legend Shirley Ceasar pray a special prayer\, “for people to accept me as the new carrier of His word. God is working on me\, He’s working through me\, and He’s putting changes all over me – positive. I know I’m chosen. I know this is something I was meant to do. For 10 years now I’ve been trying to do this gospel album and I finally did it. And it feels so good singing these songs.” For Ms. Patti\, she simply desires for her fans not to judge her with this record and to be aware that this gift is from her heart and deep within her soul. “I want them to take away a beautiful message. I want them to take away a beautiful CD\, which means take it home\, buy it so that we can help with this cancer calling.” That humility and honesty has been the true gospel according to Patti LaBelle. “Staying a person that people can say they encountered and she was very\, very giving. She didn’t get Hollywood on us. I never want to be thought of as a Hollywood person\, you know the people who don’t have time for the people who made them.” The same motivation that had Patricia Louis Holt blossom from a choir member to lead vocalist for Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles to a solo artist is the same energy that keeps her fire burning at six-two years young. “Each year I grow\, and that’s a blessing from God. I do what I can do. I do what I feel God has given me the energy to do\, so I just go out there and I do it-It’s not about making money because I don’t need money\, but I need to sing. With a voice or without\, I’ve got to get on that stage.” And the world is thankful that Ms. Patti’s preaching sounds so good to our ears. \n\n\n\nWith a voice that’s raw\, powerful\, and unmistakably soul-stirring\, Leela James has carved out a singular space in music where classic soul meets contemporary R&B. Since her breakout debut A Change Is Gonna Come in 2005\, Leela has earned a reputation for blending deep\, emotive storytelling with gritty vocals and timeless grooves. Influenced by legends like Aretha Franklin\, Al Green\, and Chaka Khan\, she channels the spirit of old-school soul while fearlessly pushing musical boundaries. \n\n\n\nEarly in her career\, she was honored by the legendary James Brown\, who affectionately coined her “The Goddaughter of Soul\,” recognizing her authentic voice and powerful connection to the roots of the genre. \n\n\n\nMs. James has gone on to record and release seven LPs\, delivering eight Top 20 R&B radio singles\, including two Number One tracks on the Billboard charts. Her 2021 single \n\n\n\n“Complicated” topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for three consecutive weeks in the summer of that year\, solidifying her reputation as a force in contemporary soul. \n\n\n\nHer beloved ballad “Fall For You” is now considered a modern classic and was certified Gold in October 2022\, surpassing 500\,000 units sold. Over the years\, her music—including hits like “Don’t Want You Back” and “Say That” featuring Anthony Hamilton—has become synonymous with passion\, authenticity\, and emotional honesty. \n\n\n\nIn 2014\, Leela won The Soul Train Certified Award\, and in 2021\, she garnered an NAACP Image Award nomination for Best R&B Collaboration. She earned another NAACP nomination in 2025 for her powerful single “Lookat Whatcha Done Now” featuring Kenyon Dixon\, further cementing her role as a vital and enduring voice in modern soul.

Gratuity of 20% is automatically added to all food and beverage purchases. \n \n\n\nJonathan Butler\nWebsite | Facebook | Instagram \n\n\n\nJonathan Butler is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who leads a life few can imagine. Born in South Africa under the shadow of apartheid and raised in poverty\, Butler was the first non-white artist to be played on South African radio and appear on national television. Though his musical abilities would take him away from the world he grew up in\, Jonathan would neither forget the plight of his fellow South Africans\, nor the man that led them to freedom. It is for this reason Nelson Mandela credits Butler’s music as having inspired him during his imprisonment. In more ways than one\, Jonathan Butler is representative of South Africa. \nJonathan’s story begins at a very young age when his father presented him with a homemade one-string guitar. Little did his father realize that he was giving way to a musical phenomenon. From then on\, Jonathan’s musical gifts grew by leaps and bounds. In his early teens Butler won a local talent contest\, affording him the opportunity to perform with a touring musical company throughout South Africa. On occasion he would perform at lavish concert halls for whites only\, where he would not be allowed to use the bathroom\, and the very next night he would perform in a dilapidated local township. Ultimately\, his ticket to a new life was music. \nAt thirteen\, Jonathan’s talents caught the eyes and ears of the British record producer Clive Caulder. He was signed to Caulder’s Jive Records and the rest is history. Jonathan’s first single broke down racial barriers becoming the first song by a black artist played by white radio stations in South Africa and won the South African equivalent to a Grammy®. \nHis commitment to his craft came to fruition with his self-titled debut album\, which received a Grammy® nomination for the pop hit “Lies.” An instrumental “Going Home” earned him another Grammy® nomination and the mid-tempo ballad “Sarah\, Sarah” confirmed Butler’s place in popular music. \nHowever\, to Jonathan Butler\, success is measured on a higher plane. \nA religious and spiritual man\, Butler dedicates his life to being a devoted father and grandfather\, and a caring citizen to his homeland\, South Africa. \nAnd in spite of all the hardships\, Jonathan Butler has an air of playfulness and quiet resilience that is easily visible in his passionate performances.
