Bill FrisellWebsite | Facebook | Instagram Bill Frisell’s career as a guitarist and composer has spanned more than 45 years and many celebrated recordings\, whose catalog has been cited by Downbeat as “the best recorded output of the decade”. Frisell’s new album\, “In My Dreams” released March ’26 by Blue Note Records to coincide with a series of concerts celebrating his 75th birthday throughout the U.S. and Europe. Produced by Lee Townsend\, the album features Frisell’s long-time collaborators – Jenny Scheinman (violin)\, Eyvind Kang (viola)\, Hank Roberts (cello)\, Thomas Morgan (bass) and Rudy Royston (drums) – in an ensemble configuration that has never recorded together previously\, performing largely original music written or newly arranged\, especially for this project. Bill’s excitement for it is palpable. “I’ve been dreaming about this.”\, he said. “A family gathering. A reunion. That’s what it feels like getting together with my closest friends. Our history goes back decades. Coming up on a half-century with Hank! I’ve spent so much time with these folks. Traveled many miles. But that doesn’t mean we’re done. There’s still much unfinished business. We’re just getting started.” In March 2022\, a biography on Frisell\, entitled Beautiful Dreamer – The Guitarist Who Changed The Sound of American Music\, written by Philip Watson was published by Faber and released in the UK\, Europe\, South\, Central America & Asia. Through unprecedented access\, and interviews with his close family\, friends and collaborators\, Philip Watson tells the story of the innovative and influential guitarist and composer. Recognized as one of America’s 21 most vital and productive performing artists\, Frisell was named an inaugural Doris Duke Artist in 2012. He is also a recipient of grants from United States Artists and Meet the Composer\, among others. From 2013 – 2015\, Bill was Resident Artistic Director for Jazz at Lincoln Center for their Roots of Americana series\, and in 2016\, he was a beneficiary of the first FreshGrass Composition commission to preserve and support innovative grassroots music. Upon San Francisco Jazz opening their doors in 2013\, he served as one of their Resident Artistic Directors. Bill is also the subject of a documentary film by director Emma Franz\, entitled Bill Frisell: A Portrait\, which examines his creative process in depth. He has also received an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College of Music. Rudy RoystonBorn in Fort Worth\, Texas\, and raised in Denver\, Colorado\, Royston has been a professional teacher\, drummer and percussionist for almost twenty years. He studied classical percussion at University of Denver where earned undergraduate degrees in Music and English\, and accomplished teacher certification credentials from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He has taught\, recorded and performed all styles of music from Jazz to marching percussion. Since moving to Piscataway\, New Jersey in 2006\, Royston has completed a Masters in Music degree from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts in New Brunswick\, New Jersey\, and performed with many of today’s finest Jazz musicians. SUMMARY:Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour
DESCRIPTION:As one of today’s premiere stand-up comedians\, Jo Koy has come a long way from his modest beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house. Jo’s uniquely relatable comedy pulls inspiration from his colorful family that has reached all kinds of people and has translated into sold-out arenas around the world. \n\n\n\nThe comedian continues to be one of the top 10 grossing stand-up comedians each year according to Pollstar and Billboard. Today\, he continues selling out and breaking sales records at some of the most prestigious venues around the world including Mall of Asia Arena (Manila\, PH)\, The Forum (Los Angeles)\, Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai)\, ICC Theatre (Sydney\, AU)\, O2 Arena (London)\, Madison Square Garden (New York City)\, and American Airlines Arena (Dallas) to name a few. In 2022\, Koy kicked off his Funny Is Funny World Tour by selling-out the Climate Pledge Arena (over 14\,000 tickets) in his hometown of Seattle and ended the tour with a sold-out show at Tacoma Dome (over 19\,000 tickets). In 2017\, Koy broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist at 23\,000 tickets and 11 sold-out shows at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. In response\, the mayor’s office in Honolulu proclaimed November 24th as “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nKoy starred in the 2022 Universal Picture comedy Easter Sunday\, the film takes place around a struggling single father that returns to his hometown of Daly City\, CA to survive a chaotic Easter with his family. The film is a love letter to his Filipino roots and is loosely based on Jo Koy’s life experiences and stand-up comedy. Easter Sunday was produced by Steven Spielberg’s production company Amblin Partners and is the first motion picture film to feature an all-Filipino cast and be produced by a major studio. In honor of the film\, Daly City gave Jo the Keys To The City and declared July 22nd “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Koy appeared in Disney’s Haunted Mansion and voiced characters in Netflix’s animated films\, Monkey King and Leo. In 2024\, he was most recently heard voicing the character Monkey King in the Paramount+ film\, The Tiger’s Apprentice. He’s also appeared in Netflix’s Mr. Iglesias and Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, it was announced that he inked a two-special deal with Netflix with the first special releasing in 2024. Jo returned to Netflix in typical style\, sharing his unfiltered opinions on social media\, aging and moving into a new phase of his life; his zaddy phase. Filmed at the historic King’s Theatre in Brooklyn\, NY\, Jo Koy: Live From Brooklyn premiered globally on June 4th\, 2024 only on Netflix and reached the Top 10 within the first week. His other Netflix stand-up specials include Live From The Los Angeles Forum\, Comin’ In Hot and Live From Seattle. Overall\,Koy has had seven highly rated and successful specials on Comedy Central and Netflix. In June 2020\, the comedian released his first variety special\, Jo Koy: In His Elements on Netflix in which Koy brings the laughs and beats to Manila\, spotlighting local culture in a one-of-a-kind show featuring Filipino-American comedians\, DJs and B-boys. \n\n\n\nOn March 21st\, 2026\, Koy alongside Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias will become the first to headline and sell-out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for their One Night Only! show. \n\n\n\nKoy continues to push for representation in Hollywood and shine a light on Filipino talent. Last year Koy joined Nurse Unseen\, a documentary from Emmy-winning director Michele Josue\, as an executive producer. The film explores the little-known history and humanity of the unsung Filipino nurses who risked their lives on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic while facing a resurgence of anti-Asian hate in the streets. \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, Jo came on as a producer for the David Byrne-Fatboy Slim musical\, Here Lies Love. Here Lies Love told the story of Imelda Marcos’ rise to power and subsequent fall at the hands of the Philippine People Power Revolution. The show received four Tony Award nominations during its run and was the first to feature an all-Filipino cast on Broadway. \n\n\n\nIn 2022\, Koy was once again acknowledged for his advocacy for more representation in entertainment and was given the proclamation in Los Angeles that October 7th would be declared “Jo Koy Day.” \n\n\n\nIn 2021\, Koy released his first autobiography\, Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo with Harper Collins Publishers to raved reviews. In this funny and moving memoir\, Koy uncovers the stories behind his stand-up: the conflict\, the drama and the laughter as he struggles to find his place in the entertainment industry\, his home and around the world. \n\n\n\nJo is currently on his Jo Koy: Just Being Koy Tour. For more info on his comedy\, book and tour dates\, please visit: Jokoy.com. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n$45.60 – $107.40

But deep fans don’t underestimate the contribution of GRAMMY Nominated and Soul Train Award winning singer and songwriter Tony Terry. \nAfter graduating from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington\, D.C.\, he sang backing vocals for several R&B groups \nA Maryland native\, Terry moved to New York as a young man in search of a career as a solo singer\, and it wasn’t long before singing in local clubs led to a signing by Epic Records. For his 1987 debut album\, Forever Yours\, Terry and his team aimed squarely at the emerging New Jack Swing market\, landing two top 10 hits with “She’s Fly” and “Lovey Dovey.” But it was a strategic turn on his sophomore disc that solidified Terry’s spot in soul music history as a balladeer supreme with his Classic hit “With You“. \n“With You” was a romantic ballad that Epic didn’t believe in\, but Terry knew was a hit. It slowly percolated\, without label support\, on Quiet Storm radio\, ultimately landing in the Top 10 and giving Terry his signature hit. When Anita Baker heard that Epic wouldn’t pay for a music video for the song\, she fronted Terry $50\,000 and brought in Blair Underwood to direct what would become one of the more popular music videos of the era.

SUMMARY:Patti LaBelle with Special Guest Leela James
DESCRIPTION:Beautiful\, simply does not describe the incomparable force known to the world as Patti LaBelle. As time continues to evolve\, the soulful songbird’s name has become synonymous with grace\, style\, elegance and class. Belting out classic rhythm and blues renditions\, pop standards and spiritual sonnets have created the unique platform of versatility that Ms. Patti is known and revered for. As she continues into her fourth decade of performing\, the Philadelphia maven has returned to her roots with her latest project\, The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle. “I was born gospel\, so it’s not like I’m coming back or trying to impress people with this new gospel project. I’ve always done this. I’ve never done a whole album. That’s the only thing that’s missing\,” observes the songstress. “I’ve come full circle where you can say it’s a complete project.” The church tour accompanied the release of The Gospel According to Patti LaBelle. It began at The Potter’s House in Texas\, home to Bishop TD Jakes. Patti was blessed to have gospel legend Shirley Ceasar pray a special prayer\, “for people to accept me as the new carrier of His word. God is working on me\, He’s working through me\, and He’s putting changes all over me – positive. I know I’m chosen. I know this is something I was meant to do. For 10 years now I’ve been trying to do this gospel album and I finally did it. And it feels so good singing these songs.” For Ms. Patti\, she simply desires for her fans not to judge her with this record and to be aware that this gift is from her heart and deep within her soul. “I want them to take away a beautiful message. I want them to take away a beautiful CD\, which means take it home\, buy it so that we can help with this cancer calling.” That humility and honesty has been the true gospel according to Patti LaBelle. “Staying a person that people can say they encountered and she was very\, very giving. She didn’t get Hollywood on us. I never want to be thought of as a Hollywood person\, you know the people who don’t have time for the people who made them.” The same motivation that had Patricia Louis Holt blossom from a choir member to lead vocalist for Patti LaBelle & The Bluebelles to a solo artist is the same energy that keeps her fire burning at six-two years young. “Each year I grow\, and that’s a blessing from God. I do what I can do. I do what I feel God has given me the energy to do\, so I just go out there and I do it-It’s not about making money because I don’t need money\, but I need to sing. With a voice or without\, I’ve got to get on that stage.” And the world is thankful that Ms. Patti’s preaching sounds so good to our ears. \n\n\n\nWith a voice that’s raw\, powerful\, and unmistakably soul-stirring\, Leela James has carved out a singular space in music where classic soul meets contemporary R&B. Since her breakout debut A Change Is Gonna Come in 2005\, Leela has earned a reputation for blending deep\, emotive storytelling with gritty vocals and timeless grooves. Influenced by legends like Aretha Franklin\, Al Green\, and Chaka Khan\, she channels the spirit of old-school soul while fearlessly pushing musical boundaries. \n\n\n\nEarly in her career\, she was honored by the legendary James Brown\, who affectionately coined her “The Goddaughter of Soul\,” recognizing her authentic voice and powerful connection to the roots of the genre. \n\n\n\nMs. James has gone on to record and release seven LPs\, delivering eight Top 20 R&B radio singles\, including two Number One tracks on the Billboard charts. Her 2021 single \n\n\n\n“Complicated” topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for three consecutive weeks in the summer of that year\, solidifying her reputation as a force in contemporary soul. \n\n\n\nHer beloved ballad “Fall For You” is now considered a modern classic and was certified Gold in October 2022\, surpassing 500\,000 units sold. Over the years\, her music—including hits like “Don’t Want You Back” and “Say That” featuring Anthony Hamilton—has become synonymous with passion\, authenticity\, and emotional honesty. \n\n\n\nIn 2014\, Leela won The Soul Train Certified Award\, and in 2021\, she garnered an NAACP Image Award nomination for Best R&B Collaboration. She earned another NAACP nomination in 2025 for her powerful single “Lookat Whatcha Done Now” featuring Kenyon Dixon\, further cementing her role as a vital and enduring voice in modern soul.
