BIO:

Dr. Michael Ahn Paarlberg is an Associate Professor in the Political Science department at Virginia Commonwealth University, and a fellow with the Center for International Policy and Institute for Policy Studies. He served as Sen. Bernie Sanders’ foreign policy advisor for Latin America. He previously worked as a researcher for the Service Employees International Union and a labor journalist for the Guardian.
