Blaze and Badge Camp

Do you have a young girl interested in a potential career in public safety? “Blaze & Badge” is a new opportunity to give your girls the firsthand experience our first responders encounter daily! THE DETAILS When: June 15-18, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Where: Richmond Raceway (600 E. Laburnum Ave) Who: Rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls (Henrico residents & non-residents) WHAT TO EXPECT These young ladies will go through two days of fire activities and two days of police activities as part of this camp. This replaces the former successful “Girls on Fire” camp, hosted by the Division of Fire. The goal is to introduce more public safety activities to our young ladies! Lunch will be provided with special “eat and learn” opportunities from the Department of Emergency Communications and Sheriff’s Office.
