Henrico Launches New Logo and Website Refresh

Henrico County has introduced a new logo and refreshed its official website, signaling a shift toward a more modern, accessible public-facing identity.

The updated logo features a blue-and-green “Henrico Virginia” wordmark paired with a stylized feather—an element the county says connects to its historical seal while representing unity across its five magisterial districts.

Alongside the rebrand, the county launched a redesigned version of its website. While the visual layout has been updated for a cleaner, more contemporary look, the structure and functionality remain largely unchanged to preserve ease of use for residents.

Importantly, Henrico will continue using its official seal—featuring Pocahontas—for formal and governmental purposes. The result is a dual-brand system: a traditional seal for official contexts and a simplified, modern logo for everyday communication.

The update reflects a broader trend across the Richmond region, where local governments are investing in digital design and branding as part of improving accessibility and public engagement.
