Event Preview: Arts in the Park Returns to Byrd Park

Richmond’s signature outdoor art show is back. Arts in the Park returns to Byrd Park at the Carillon for a two-day celebration of creativity, community, and culture.

Now in its 55th year, this nationally recognized juried show features hundreds of artists from across the country, with work spanning painting, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, photography, and more. It’s a chance to meet artists directly and support independent creative work.

Beyond the booths, Arts in the Park offers a full-day experience with local food vendors, open park space, and a steady flow of visitors that reflects the event’s long-standing role in Richmond’s cultural calendar.
